Do you block mails from certain domains?
Yes, mails get rejected from hosts that are listed on a realtime blacklist we use (e.g. SORBS). Such mails are tagged with error:
Service unavailable; Client host blocked using xyz
Problematic hosts are still able to send you emails if they contact you through another address: make use of a free mail forwarding address (e.g. 4warding.com) to redirect mails from such blacklisted hosts to your Shtrudel Mail account. Don't forget to inform the "blacklisted" senders about the new address.
Don't hesitate to contact Support if you need additional assistance!

You can use message rules (filters) in combination with custom folders to organize your e-mails and manage the flow of incoming e-mails.You can have your e-mails sorted just like clothes in your drawer by moving them into folders. (e.g. you can set up a message rule, which will move any message from certain e-mail address to certain folder).
After you create a message rule and activate it, it is applied automatically to new messages in your Inbox.Message rules are applied in their order of appearance: each rule is applied, beginning at the top of the list.
You can also apply a message rule manually to any folder.
Example:
If you want to delete all mails with subject 'viagra' except those from 'friend@domain.com', you can create following rules in this order of appearance:
(1)- "if subject contains 'viagra' -> delete it."
(2)- "if email address contains 'friend@domain.com' -> move it to Inbox."
If you flip the rule order, all mails with subject 'viagra' get deleted!
What is an alias?
An alias is an extra address which forwards all mail to your main account.
Aliases provide multiple, easy-to-use, disposable email addresses that allow you to receive messages from automated systemsand unknown senders, while protecting your primary account from spam and other unwanted mail.
An alias does not have any storage of its own, and does not work independent from the main account, but it can be removed anytime if it receives unwanted mail.
For maximum spam control, we recommend that you direct your Aliases mail to a custom folder (see Message Rules). This will allow you to easily identify and eliminate spam without affecting the rest of your email experience.
